The LEGO® Super Mario™ app is the official companion app for the ever-expanding range of LEGO® Super Mario™ building sets. The app enhances the creative experience for builders with digital instructions, tips for different ways to rebuild levels and play, and other inspiring features.

With the LEGO® Super Mario™ app you can:

• Establish a Bluetooth® connection between the app and brick-built LEGO® Mario™, LEGO® Luigi™ and/or LEGO® Peach™ figures.

This is really, really dumb. These Mario sets already come at a premium cost, and don't even include proper instructions, there was just an ad for other sets in the box that said to get the app for instructions (and didn't even include the app name anywhere, had to search elsewhere to make sure I wasn't installing 3rd party garbage from the app store). Just put instructions in the box instead of wasting my time.

I bought a set only to find out they no longer include instructions; you must use this app (which is huge, 1.4 GB). Luckily I had a luigi from another set as they don't seem to let you access build instructions in the app without having a character registered, which doesn't come with most sets. Nice. Last one of these lego sets that I buy! All to save a few cents and collect metrics about you.

This is the most ridiculous app and experience. For the price, Lego can certainly do better. I am pretty tech savvy however, my son got this for Christmas and we are so freaking disappointed with all the hoops we are having to jump through. After having to delete at least five different apps to even BEGIN this download, then it just stop downloading after 20 minutes so we have to start ALL over. Would NOT recommend.
