The phone doesn't connect to the smoker! It worked okay the first time now when we are able to connect it keeps us in safe mode. Or disconnects and says the smoker is off. I don't understand the point of having a wifi smoker that doesn't work effectively. Seriously considering returning and purchasing a different brand. This is so frustrating.

The first time I connected, it worked perfectly. The second and Following times I've connected, the app force closes on me. Oddly, I got it to work great when I turned on the VPN on my phone. I can't really make sense of it though, since this is supposed to connect via Bluetooth. When it works, it's really cool. However, for the most part, it's a pretty buggy app that rarely likes to connect without fiddling with it.

It started out great about 5 years ago, then after a couple of years, the app updated, and then it constantly crashed, I reached out to the developers by email and they actually tried to fix the issue and responded to my emails but the app still crashed. I just gave up and uninstalled the app... after about a year later, I decided to give the app a try, and it worked flawlessly other than it going into safe mode if you open the door. Then,just turn off the unit and start over. 4 stars for them.
