About this app

My Books is an application for those who want to keep track of the books read. Like a library, books can be sorted into folders, having read books, unread books or currently reading books.

Features:

★ Automatically add new books by searching them on the internet in a large catalog (continue reading), searching by title, author, or by scanning his barcode with your device camera. Does not need external apps or leave the app to perform the search.

★ Add all the details of the book as well as a rating and a personal comment.
★ For the front cover, you can take a picture, search in your gallery or search it on internet with a simple touch using Google Image Search API.

Note: This app does not allow downloading or visualizing the books, it is designed to have organized all our reading.

Ratings and reviews

It's good as a basic catalog. Inputting books isn't instantaneous, but it isn't hard. I like that you can edit your bookshelves and make as many as you like. But I don't like that there is no option for genre on the books. And if you sort by author, you'll need to manually change the authors to "Lastname, Firstname" or else Jane Austen will find herself in company with J.R.R. Tolkien.

This is the only app that I can use for organising books. It's the most comfortable to use. I recommend it. The only thing is that you can't have an account, so when changing phones you'll loose everything. They have an option to back up the data but it doesn't work cause the app can't open the file, so it's pretty much useless. I would love if there was an option to make an account.

Great app! I didn't give 5 stars because I'd like to sort my read books by selecting a subject (for example, only list fantasy books). But the app doesn't even show the subject of a book :( Hope this will be implemented, because the app is very nice
