Using Music Writer you can compose, create and edit sheet music on your phone or tablet.

Editing the score,
- Add, remove and edit notes on two independent layers
- Change time signature, key signature and clef for individual measures
- Copy, paste or remove parts of the score
- Change the instrument for a staff
- Add expression, articulation, slur and repeats to the sheet music
- Add lyrics to your music
- Add, remove or reorder staves
- Set title, subtitle and composer

Ratings and reviews

Near perfect app for making music on my phone, but there's a few issues. Sometimes the subscription acts up and pretends like you never bought it which can cause misunderstandings and even make you buy it again if you don't realize this. Then you can't buy the app either so a subscription is the only way to go. Then theres the Lyrics sometimes overlapping and being harder to read because the notes are close together and so are the words. I love this app, but man it can be annoying to use.

you have to pay a subscription to access all the features, there are no multi-measure rests, it prevents you from adding notes when it deems there is no space unless you do this weird layering thing, and the accidentals/dynamics will often glitch and disappear momentarily, but aside from that it works pretty well and I was able to compose fairly easily from my phone, which is nice.

This app is promising in many ways. I installed it, played around with it for a while, and promptly deleted it after being harassed by a few very intrusive (and noisy) adds and discovering that the only way to get rid of them is to sign up for a subscription. When are app developers going to face reality and realise that you can't have a subscription for everything in this world -- especially not apps you will probably only use occasionally.
