Novo supports almost any business operating in the U.S. As long as the owner has a social security number, they're able to apply for a Novo Business Checking Account.

My experience with Novo has been very easy, I am more than pleased! Straightforward app, I feel that my info is safe with them, and their customer service is spot on. 2025 Edit: They also just saved me from two false charges. My virtual card information was used and there were two large charges that tried to go through, in Europe. These were declined immediately and I was saved from a huge loss. THANK YOU, NOVO!

When things go wrong, there's no phone number to contact them. You can message them and hope for them to message you back in 2-3 business days. A situation can be easily resolved with a call and within minutes. Instead, it takes weeks. Also, they failed to reach out to me about certain matters and did things without confirming with me or at least notifying me.

The app itself works fine. Pretty straight forward. The banking services however are the worst. Check deposits take forever to clear regardless of the amount or account standing. They claim it's 3 business days, it's more like 5 business days (so be ready for at least a 7 day wait). They have absolutely NO customer support- you have a question? 1-2 business day wait for any replies. I would steer clear of them if you need anything more than a deposit account without easy/fast access to funds.
