To use the PowerSchool Mobile app, your district must be running the PowerSchool Student Information System. If your district uses a different SIS, suggest they switch to PowerSchool!

• The school district running the latest supported PowerSchool SIS version
• The school district has enabled mobile access
• A wireless connection or mobile data plan
• Users must consent to receive push notifications when connecting to servers outside of the United States

Ratings and reviews

The update is useless if the app can't be used. It takes forever to load, or doesn't load at all and crashes out (wifi or cellular use). I still can't get notifications. Every time I hit back, the page goes to full reload and then fails out. Also give me the option to leave my selection to a client semester and not the full year every time I open the app, I have to change it and wait for it to load.. again.

In my experience over the last several years, this app/PowerSchool has been awful. I am a parent and have encountered problem after problem, including getting locked out of the app, having nothing come up on the screen, the app freezing, etc. It is extremely frustrating and unreliable, especially when I am trying to register my child for school. Even the FAQ portion of the website is unhelpful!

Apps are supposed to get better, not worse. Last year, this app was clear, easy to understand, quick to load, & sent timely push notifications. Recent updates have made this app unusable. Visually, it is disorganized. My child's classes are very much out of order and there is no setting for me to adjust it. The "Grades" screen is slow to load, sometimes stuck on a constant refresh. I am operating on a brand new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with all permissions enabled.
