Ratings and reviews

App good, but staff booking ticket are not transparent in their action. I booked a ticket under current booking, but it reflected as Tatkal. Within 20 minutes I had to cancel it for a reason, but IRCTC refused refund saying it was Tatkal, that is when I knew the fleecing. I lost all my money Rs.1435. Redbus then said even current booking has no refund. Chart preparation had more than 30 hours to go. Had it been current booking, I would have got at least 75% refund. Once best is now worst.

Red Rail app has a great UI, but misleading ads are a major turn-off! They promise discounts and coupon codes, but every code are only valid for first-time transactions. Charges are also steep - ₹40 extra per ticket compared to IRCTC's ₹11. I pay IRCTC charges (₹18) + Red Rail agent charges (₹20) with no benefits or discounts. For frequent travellers like me, this adds up quickly. App needs to work on transparency and honest advertising. Current ads are frustrating and feel fake.

My experience with RedRail has been extremely disappointing. The app feels like a third-class platform filled with misleading information. The worst part is that RedRail confirms bookings that don’t actually work as expected in reality. Based on my experience, the service feels unreliable and gives the impression of being a complete scam. I would not recommend using RedRail to anyone.
