In May 2023, StartEngine acquired assets of SeedInvest, including email lists for SeedInvest’s users, investors and founders seeking to raise funds. User count of 1.8 million is determined as the number of unique email addresses in StartEngine’s database as of 10-6-2023.

I have an investment in a company and am forced to get this app. updated: so it took about a month to get fully verified, selfie, ID, SSN card, and mail for proof of address. shortly after the system locked me out and their recovery process doesn't work. This thing is such a joke. I would delete and move on if I could but this is the market place the company i have shares with wants to use. definitely emailing them too about this terrible experience. 0 stars if possible

since the update, a little confusing, the profile board was easier to read than this one. I liked the individual investments listed better.

I'm trying to use the marketplace to sell some shares i bought years ago, and it claims it should take 1 business day to verify ownership of my share sell order. I understand if it takes longer, but well over a week later and nothing has been done. The transaction is already likely to take more than a month, and that is if they even sell, so all of this wasted time is disappointing. Will update when I get a response. Unacceptable support. I just want to sell.
