helpful, but once you lose about 15 lbs it doesn't help you continue the weight loss journey. I liked the app until I went on vacation and couldn't enter my calorie intake for the day due to a lack of internet. I lost about 15lbs and stabilized but can't loose more or stay consistent. The calorie tracking seems off and not perfect. I feel like just finding a calorie-counting app that is free is just as good. Noom, although a great start, is false in its advertisement.

The first time I used Noom, during the pandemic, it was super insightful and easy to use. Its interface is still pretty good, but I am so frustrated at the bugginess of the app. I am currently trying to keep tabs on my protein intake (which I only just realized was at about 25% of what it should be, as a woman in my 40s who is very active) and even when I edit food items in the app, I don't seem to ever get accurate data. My experience now is nowhere near what it was a few years ago.

This app could be great, but I think as it is, it is highly likely to lead many astray. I love the lessons and food color system, but disagree with some food color assignments. More importantly though, if I ate in what they call the weight loss zone I would maybe lose a half pound of weight per week. But worse, if I add movement like swimming, they up my zone accordingly, but they give way too many calories for the exercise, so then if I followed it, I would be eating more than I am burning.
