The brand new version of the Taksi Helsinki app is the easiest, fastest and most reliable way to order a taxi in the Metropolitan area (Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo, Kauniainen).

Right after opening the app, you can order your ride in a matter of seconds. By registering your information, you gain access to handy extra features, such as card payment via the app and email receipts.

The app can be used anywhere in the Metropolitan area and locates you automatically. After placing your order, you receive all the necessary information about your ride including the taxi number, car model and your driver's phone number. You can also see the estimated time of arrival and the location of your taxi in real-time on the map screen.

Downloading and using the application is free. There is no extra charge for making basic taxi orders (note that certain features such as pre-orders and some extra services have an additional cost). You can choose to pay for the ride when arriving at the destination or via automatic card payment. With the latter, you receive the receipt to your email – or can have it delivered directly to your accountant via ReceiptHero service.

The driver had no idea how to find the destination - he used navigator but ended up bounching around. with this pre-fixed price I have no idea if I paid for that winding route or not. I have been to that place several times lately and other drivers picked better, more straight-forward routes. I'd have walked the last bitvif it wasn't snowing heavily.

I'm sorry but the app is unusable 😥 on the map when you want to zoom out it automatically zoom in again and again to the point that you can't find the place you were looking for. Also on the registration part, even if you have completed the registery, when you press back, it goes all the way back to the starting point. I was in urgent need of a taxi but the UX of this app has been designed in a way that was impossible to use it for my purpose.

New app is literally unusable. It hangs at the initial captcha so I can't even register (also, why? Do you really have so many fake accounts registering for a Finnish taxi service that you had to include a captcha at that point in the onboarding flow?) So I guess you've lost a customer on account of you've made it literally impossible for me to be a customer anymore. The old app worked fine. Why did you replace it with something this half-baked?
