This was the best notepad app I had ever found. I put it on every one of my devices, in the center of the main screen, and I raved about it to everyone who asked. It was simple and effective and that's all I needed and it was perfect. Now they've stuck ads into it, and they're big intrusive annoying ads that don't go away easily. I'd be happy to chip in a few bucks and pay for this app, but there's no way to pay, you're just stuck with these horrible ads. What a tragedy.

Still my favorite, simple, easy to use and no drawbacks! Only I wish there were italics, bold font, underline, strike through, colored text & highlights capabilities for editing, and individual file export (I really miss having the old MS Word & My Documents before MS became a service instead of a good product). Still haven't found anything that will do all that without too many permissions. This app is the best simple one I have found so far and I greatly appreciate it!!! God bless you!!!😊🙏

I like that the app is fast indeed, and that it requires no special permissions. However, it lacks basic functionality such as file renaming, text search, etc. I also dislike the fact that I can't locate the text files created by the app on my device outside the app, by using a file manager. No idea where this app stores the files on my device!
