Google Keep is a good "beginner's" note taking app. It has a very low skill ceiling. There are just not many features for someone to use, which was a benefit for me since I just wanted something incredibly simple for me to jot down notes and information. As years passed, I find myself wanting to use more features from other apps, such as Notion. There is only so much you can do with this, but fundamentals like fonts, bold, italics, and underlines are still not included, so I will be moving on.

Overall OK experience using this app for lists, but man there is a software error that drives me crazy. Why hasn't it been fixed? It's been YEARS and it's still happening. When I check off an item, it puts the item as a "sub item" under another item on the list, the "crossed out" part. The MADDENING thing is that you can't change it without first "unchecking" it (only then can you move items around) but then when I do all that, it does it ALL OVER AGAIN under ANOTHER item. Not cute please fix 😫

It's a good app for lists, writing something down real quick, like a simple note pad. But it's on a phone, there should be a lot more stuff. Even the basic stuff for the words would be nice, like bold, italics, underline, and highlight. What's the most annoying thing they don't have, is the - • as a default button I can click. Instead, I have to do it manually. The generic stuff is there and there are so issues, but I want to customize so much and all I get are a few colors for a background.
