About this app

WinReady is a new way to get around Winchester. We’re a ridesharing service that’s smart, easy, and reliable.

With a few taps, book a ride in the app (for now or later) and our technology will pair you with other people headed your way.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Easily discover and navigate multiple types of transit in your community!
- Book a ride by setting your pickup and dropoff addresses, and indicating if you’re riding with any additional passengers.
- You will be given an estimated time when the vehicle will arrive upon booking your trip and on which nearby block you should meet your driver. The estimated arrival time of the driver will be automatically updated as your vehicle makes its way to meet you.
- When your driver arrives, please promptly board the vehicle. There may be others on board, or you may make a few additional stops along the way! You can track your ride and share your status in real-time from the app.

SHARING YOUR TRIP:
Our algorithm matches people headed in the same direction. This means you’re getting the convenience of a private ride with the efficiency and reliability of a public one.

RELIABLE:
Track your ride as the driver is on their way to you, and while you’re in the vehicle too.


OUR VEHICLES:
WinReady is wheelchair accessible! If you require a wheelchair, simply toggle on “Wheelchair accessibility” in the “Account” tab of your app! When you request a ride, you’ll be matched with a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Great app with poorly implemented service. Things were seemingly becoming more streamlined as I've gotten used to pre-scheduling trips. However, as fares have officially been introduced, the credit card / debit card payment system seems to have processing issues. As of this afternoon, I was notified via text message that I will no longer be able to schedule trips because my payment method was unable to be processed. This after no issue with a prior trip earlier in the day. PLEASE FIX!!!

Tried to schedule a ride for later in the day and physically could not. If I turned the scroll wheel to before current time (11:30am) it would automatically snap to the next day, and if I switched it back to today it would go right back to the top. There is not enough room on my phone screen to scroll past 11:30 am as I have to do it in one swipe without removing my finger from the screen.

It's legitimately one of the most infuriating apps I've ever used. It doesn't go past the city limits at all, so if you work in Kernstown, for example, you better be able to walk. Not only that but its always magically a 40 min wait
