The NYC School Bus app, powered by Via, gives caregivers greater visibility into their student's daily school commute. Through real-time GPS tracking information, caregivers will have peace of mind knowing the location of their student’s school bus and receive notifications when their student safely boards or exits the bus.

honestly started off as a good app, but at some point, it stopped working. when the bus driver signs it. it doesn't show them moving, at first I thought it was an issue on the bus company's end but then my kid got another bus company and it was the same issue. The app was recently updated, but the issue is still there

The app is great when the bus drivers remember to turn on their side of it. It would be better if their end was made to automatically turn on when the bus starts it's route instead of the driver logging in. One of my kids bus drivers is an older gentleman and he hasn't had luck logging into the app which is not helpful to the parents at all. Some improvements are needed.

This needs more ways to communicate with the dispatch of the company you're with and cameras need to be on the bus would like to see/hear things from on the bus. Stay current with the route not letting other drivers use each other log ins. Having the current up-to-date schools in the system so through this app we can reach out if problems. Like the bus breakdowns or whatever might occur.
