This is game-changing for ADHD. Open, play, you're set for the night. No ads until you turn the sound off (likely going to be after you wake up.) Put it on a speaker or TV and it's so loud you won't hear yourself think over it. Minor issue: it covers the sound of your alarm. You can set a sleep timer, but it might wake you up a bit too early. I use a phone mode that closes apps at a specific time (the sound stops playing when the app closes) but I do wish a time-based sleep timer was added.

The best low frequency sounds. Other apps sound higher pitched , this is the closest to a real fan ive found Edit: Still love the app, but it would be awesome if there could be a setting for volume to be independently controlled from media. Editx2: Developer implimented what I asked for in a new update! Awesome! Edit 3: is there a way to remove ads? Edit 4: the type of ads added are pretty annoying, full screen and often open a link when you try to close them. Kinda degrades the app.

Thanks! "is there a way to remove ads?" - Unfortunately not, at the moment. But most likely will appear this year.

Love it! I don't actually like pure white noise so I love how customizable this is without notice also looping. I've used it for years! There are definitely times where it stops randomly at night even without the timer set, but I found that airplane mode / no data access reduces this significantly, along with turning off battery optimization. Probably something to do w/ ads. This means that I can't be reached in case of emergencies, but I guess that's a trade off for good sleep.

Thanks! We don't think it's related to ads as we don't load ads in the background. In some cases, auto-update of apps, incoming notifications and other Internet-related reasons may interrupt the app. Please also do as described here: dontkillmyapp.com
