Ratings and reviews

It mostly crashes than function. You can load funds to your physical/digital public transportation card, but they charge extra processing fees which doesn't make it much attractive. You can easily use most of the TR bank apps i.e. maximum app or fastpay app and do it for free (currently). God forbid you forget your physical card you can't transfer funds to the digital version, but must add funds directly to it with fees. Getting a new physical card costs 10TL currently. Very cumbersome, useless.

Unless you are either a Turkish citizen or a foreign resident, it is impossible to create an account to use this app. Being neither of these, I am unable to use the app at all, and cannot rate it any higher than one star. A half star would be closer to accurate. This app cannot be used by frequent (or infrequent) visitors to Turkey who want to maintain their İstanbulkart, check the balance, top it up prior to arrival for convenience, etc. A glaring oversight which I hope the creators will find a way to rectify soon. If there IS a way to do this and I'm just overlooking it, please let me know and I'll happily adjust the rating accordingly.

Being able to use the metro is really good and convenient. However in order to use the app i need a turkish number! Which is very inconvenient! This is why i give two stars because Turkey has a lot of tourists and this makes it difficult for them. It should be much easier. This should change
