A frustrating app. I really only use it for the alerts, and even those are inconsistent. There are two alert categories: "Emergency" and "General Information" and these categories seem randomly applied. White Sox games end up in Emergencies and unannounced road closures end up in General Information. A simple calendar of all big events in the upcoming week would be a great addition, as well as proper categorizing of alerts.

Newly released 2/23. Definitely worthwhile but in its early stages. Enable permissions 1st. Traffic alerts. weather maps kinda small, general for broad area. Very slow, esp. CDOT. Your info not easy to input. Identifies CPD beat, area but hard to identify streets. Nice feature: the Safe Walk - share your location with trusted contact - follow you virtually, lets them know you got there safely. A RECORD if something goes wrong. 911, 311 buttons. Useful but needs work.

Useless. You'd think an app built for Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communication would actually be about Chicago, and not Naperville, and Oak Brook or other suburbs. Instead every time I try to find out what's actually happening in the city a particular day, I end up with suburban events that may be going on for weeks. Even worse, the few major events or does show are weeks or months old. I don't need to know about the NASCAR race three weeks after it's over.
