I mean it's good and all, but it gives off the look that it's completely free... But in reality you do have to pay for certain accesses, I mean make your money ig. 🤷🏾‍♀️, Aside from that, it's pretty good. You actually do get to text for free and it gives you a good amount of access and even when you do have to pay it's cheap. I like it but the way the app is designed isn't pleasing to the eye for me...aside from that it's fine. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm paying for the number. I'm not sure why this was a problem that never resolved for over 2 years now, but whenever I tried to use TextNow to call using WiFi, it never works. I had to switch to data for the call to work. Dev might need to look at their configuration for this issue because this is the only app where a live call doesn't work with WiFi.

Requires subscription for basic everyday things, like receiving verification code texts. Phone calls from a locked screen are a 25-step process just to accept. Quality is subpar. Ads are constantly in the way or unskippable for 5-10 secs playing across the entire screen (why the hell does a texting app even need that kind of nonsense?). And then, lastly- notifications when receiving texts just don't show up. My notifs are on and everything. This app sucks at every job it's supposed to have.

- Pulling down to refresh messages on the conversation screen now keeps you at the top of the list as intended.
- When you’re on a call and another call comes in, you’ll now see the incoming call notification as expected after ending the current call.
