The HealthEquity mobile app is a convenient and powerful tool that gives you on-the-go access to your health accounts.

Features include:

• On-the-go access and history - Access all account types wherever you go.
• Photo documentation - Take a photo with your device to initiate claims and payments.
• Ability to send payments & reimbursements - Send payments to providers or reimburse yourself for out-of-pocket expenses directly from your account.
• Ability to manage debit card transactions - Link your debit card transactions to claims and documentation.
• Claims initiation and status viewing - View the status of claims as well as link payments and documentation to claims.
• Notifications - Receive alerts when your HealthEquity card is used.

Ratings and reviews

App is still hot garbage and Health Equity doesn't seem to care with no response or attempts to resolve. The app freezes and Android gives app isn't responding messages that makes it useless. Don't bother installing to save yourself frustration. The app is awful. It hangs constantly and Android prompts to wait or close app. There are too many steps to add a receipt to a card transaction.

Multiple crashes during single expense submission. Non-intuitive design with too many fields per expense. Search function for providers doesn't work. Doesn't attach all documents to each claim. Doesn't transfer file names or info over for use on document library. Bad, time waiting, clunky, lazy design that puts extra work on members and doesn't function properly.

If GARBAGE needed an alias, it would be called HEALTH EQUITY! Very quirky and unreliable. Most unreliable app I have ever used. What should take a couple minutes to enter an expense and request reimbursement might get done in 10 minutes assuming you don't accidentally logout with the every 10 seconds popup message of app not responding! Forget about their apps and just use the HE website, much more reliable. Today, the receipt picture won't upload!
