Zum is bringing flexible, efficient, connected and sustainable student transportation to school districts, communities and families across the United States.

We know that families are incredibly busy, so we’ve made Zūm easy for parents to track and manage their child’s school rides. With our app, parents can:
- Quickly view driver and vehicle profiles
- Track the location of vehicles and your child’s ride progression in real-time
- Receive pickup and dropoff notifications
- Provide specific instructions for your child’s driver
- Leave feedback about the driver or your child’s experience on the ride
- Easily communicate changes or cancel a ride if a child is sick or absent

Our drivers go through a rigorous selection and vetting process, while our app provides full transparency to eliminate the chaos and anxiety of getting students to and from school everyday.

Ratings and reviews

Zum has been a really reliable and safe service for our kids transportation this year. Our school's provider before they switched to Zum was unreliable and unable to address their many problems (terrible communications, lateness/no shows, mechanical issues, insufficient bus seats, etc). As the new service, Zum hasn't put one foot wrong these past 2 months. We look forward to seeing that continue.

They need to work with the drivers to come up with better routes. I'm not happy my district switched. It NEVER gives info on one of my kid's pick up just drop off and I've been taking them and picking them up because the route home the first day was a disaster, over an hour passed scheduled for drop off. I got a text about a change in pick up but nothing on the app.

Can't cancel ride properly Most of the times, this app is good. It shows where the driver is on real time map. But it doesn't cancel rides properly, only 1 ride (pickup/dropoff) can be cancel, and regardless how many times I clicked the other one. It just don't work. Asked help from customer service and it didn't make the cancel ride happens on my side. The app overall is okay, but need improvements of stability.

What's new

We are always on the move making app improvements for our families! This release includes language support for English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Somali, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, and Arabic; as well as performance improvements and bug fixes.
