This messaging app has a really tiny app size compared to the competition, making it really fast to download. The SMS backup technique is helpful when you have to change your device, or it gets stolen. This way, you can retrieve the text message from both group messaging and private messaging easily using the SMS backup in this messaging app.

Horrible. I just installed it and it's already HORRIBLE. It takes 7 - 8 seconds just to load the first ad! This is before you even SEE the app, let alone get to use it! Can you imagine having a genuine emergency and having to wait that long and THEN still have to wade through ads?? UN-INSTALLED!!!

This is close to Verizon's Text app that they are discontinuing. But, on the Simple Text app there's no way to assign a custom notification sound to a contact name #. Also I don't see the schedule a text portion in the app . Another improvement would be to have it work like Verizon's in that you have the option to pick that the incoming new text message appears in a box over top other apps you have open. Hope they update these things I mentioned.

After Verizon's text app was discontinued I downloaded this app. It did not function properly for me. Group texts were sent properly to the group but also to individual members of the group. In addition, I can only see the first initial of a group text members name and not their entire name. In large groups (coworkers) this is confusing. I need to figure out how to unsubscribe because I believe they are going to start charging my Google account in one week.
