The KUOW App: 
The KUOW App allows you to listen to KUOW, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for KUOW FM. You can listen to KUOW and NPR Podcasts whenever you want, and send messages to the station.

Ratings and reviews

The app shuts down randomly in the middle of programs for no apparent reason. KUOW provides excellent fact-based news and programs that I wish I could completely listen to. Unfortunately, the app shuts down randomly during KUOW's high-quality, engaging and informative content. The app constantly loses connection. Restarting the app sometimes helps, but other times, after a couple of minutes, it quickly shuts down again.

There's a lot to hear, but also a lot of bugs. Just now it insists there's no on-line connection while all other apps work. Went thru a period where this app took over my phone by playing when turned off, etc. It would be better if the darn thing just played the current programming instead of all the bells & whistles that are full of bugs.

Whenever there's the slightest interruption in a data connection, or when my phone switches from one wifi hotspot to another, the radio feed stops. Sometimes it restarts by itself, but just as often I have to restart the app. And whenever it restarts, it first plays a promo spot for one of the sponsors. Very, very, very frustrating! In fact, I can't use the app as I had hoped: to listen to KUOW when I'm in locations where I can't receive the broadcast. :-(
