I used to love this app because it was so straightforward and unobtrusive, but the newest update is a travesty. Every headline is a different font size and weight, and the articles are displayed in different sized text boxes scattered across the screen. It's like it was built for children, except there are sleazy ads flashing all over it. Update: you've added a scrolling ticker? Some of us can't concentrate with rhythmic movement in our eyeline. This app is now completely unusable.

I find this new app , quite bluntly sucks. Many of the news articles that are listed in the notifications don't show up and if I'm lucky, will be in a list of current news stories and not directly load. Most of the time it's not even there. I often have to search for the story I expect to come up in the first place. At least the previous app loaded the story that I clicked on from the notification. There is no indication why things sometimes just pop up with the word topic. Again, it sucks.

7/7/24 It's great to have the Reuters app for news. The app is more attractive after its latest update, but it has a lot of scrolling instability on my pixel 4a. Like a misbehaving web page, all you want to do is shut it down, which defeats the purpose of having the app. DEVs, please resolve this! A hopeful comment is that so far, the updated app hasn't opened any incorrect articles as the old interface did occaisionally.

What's new

This release includes:
• Bug Fixes: Resolved issues with cropped images, article share links, and market data.
• Video Playback: Improved video playback on various pages and fixed audio muting issues some users were experiencing within the app.
• Design Enhancements: Adjusted spacing and font sizes. This is an area we are placing focus on and will keep continually delivering improvements in future updates.
