Hey Ahmet, this app works really well at decoding, and that's without using a HAM radio and just playing back SSTV audio from YouTube. One note, and this doesn't affect the rating: it seems like Scottie DX peaks out the microphone and causes the app to switch to RAW for second intervals, which causes cyan-line artifacting that prevents images in that format from saving. Not your fault though, just a side effect of my mic being just OK. Everything else works great though!

Can you please send me an audio recording using the same setup? A screenshot would also help see the problem. Most of the time, the microphone really is just over-driven and then you simply need to lower the volume and put the devices closer to each other. That helps reducing echo, distortion and improves signal to noise ratio.

Are you a huge Portal nerd like me? Then this app is PERFECT for you! No ads, no paid services, just make sure playback is in mono, and you too can unlock the mysteries of an almost 20-year-old video game that thousands have discovered before! Except they had clunky, outdated equipment from a bygone era, and all you need is this app! It even saves the pictures to your phone!

And if you’re a math nerd like me, you can check out the source code on GitHub and see how things are done in the kitchen! 🚀

A very useful app for quick image decoding. Features I would like to see added: 1) button to pause-resume the processing, 2) allow to force decoding start if no vis is detected.
