Ratings and reviews

Disgusted! I subscribed to Audible for several months, using my monthly credits to purchase the more expensive titles and buying less expensive titles with cash. I've paid a total of $135 to Audible since October. I decided I no longer wanted to use the service and so ended my subscription. It expressly states you can continue listening to your audiobooks after the subscription expires. Once my subscription ran out, though, the app informed me I would need to re-subscribe to continue listening!

I've been with Audible forever! I was a very early adopter and I've always been a big fan. This current version of the Audible app is a mess. The most annoying problem is when you load a detail page about a book. Good luck sampling, purchasing or anything from that page. There is a floating page reload on the page that just scrolls with you and constantly flickers and reloads. I am thinking about saying goodbye because this has been going on too long. It's as if Amazon just does not care.

Credits expire 12 months after you buy them. I wasn't paying attention or in need of books many this year, so I've lost 3 paid for credits in the last 3 months. That's about $45... I'm using my last 3, downloading all of my purchased books, and cancelling the membership. If I find a book I want, I'll just purchase it at full price somewhere.
