FitToll is an app blocker that makes you earn your screen time.
Pick the apps you lose hours to. When you try to open one, FitToll steps in and asks for push-ups or squats, counted by your camera in real time. Finish the reps and the app opens. There is no skip button.
How it works
1. Choose which apps to block. Social feeds, video apps, games, anything installed.
2. Set how long an unlock should last, from 5 minutes to 2 hours.
3. Try to open a blocked app. FitToll intercepts it.
4. Do the reps in front of the camera. FitToll counts them as you go and speaks the count out loud.
5. The app opens for the time you earned.
Why it cannot be cheated
The rep counter is not a tap counter. FitToll reads your actual joint angles using on-device pose detection, and counts a rep only when your body genuinely completes the movement. Shaking the phone does nothing. Waving at it does nothing. The exercise is the only way through.
Your unlock time is real time
The unlock timer counts active use, not wall-clock. Earn 15 minutes and you get 15 actual minutes of scrolling, whenever you spend them. When the window closes the app blocks again.
Private by design
Everything happens on your phone. Pose detection runs on-device, no video is recorded, no frames are uploaded, and nothing about your workout or your screen time ever leaves your device. The whole exercise flow works with no internet connection.

Free and Premium
The free tier covers the entire loop: block one app, both exercises at every difficulty level, 15-minute unlock windows, and a week of streak history. Premium is an optional subscription that raises the blocked-app limit, unlocks the longer unlock windows, and keeps your full streak history.
Permissions, and why
Android has no built-in way for one app to block another, so FitToll needs:
- Usage access, to see which app came to the foreground
- Display over other apps, to show the exercise screen over a blocked app
- Notifications, to warn you before an unlock window closes
- Camera, only while you are exercising
FitToll never reads the content of any app. It sees which app is open, nothing inside it.
Who it is for
People who have tried screen time limits, app timers and focus modes and tapped straight through all of them. A timer asks you to be disciplined. FitToll asks you to stand up. If your evenings vanish into doomscrolling, or you installed a digital detox app once and deleted it a week later, this was built for that. Blocking apps is easy. Making the distraction actually cost something is the part FitToll solves.
Common questions
Can I block apps without doing the exercise? No. There is no skip button, and the one emergency bypass makes the next unlock harder, not easier.
Does it need an internet connection? No. Rep detection and blocking both work fully offline.
What about my battery? The camera runs only while you exercise. Otherwise FitToll just checks which app is in the foreground.
Does it record me? No. Frames are analysed on-device and discarded. Nothing is stored, nothing is transmitted.
Will it change the habit? It changes the price. Opening the app stops being free, and few urges survive being asked for ten push-ups.
