Great app. The free features with lack of ads are perfect for starting my lifting journey. As I get more progressed, I may pay for the upgrade to supplement my workout, but it's not needed at all. I am a mid-thirties female who recently went from obese to a normal weight, and this is helping my new health goal of building strength and tone. I lucked into a squat rack, bar, and weights after a relative cleared out storage, and this has been the perfect use.
FANTASTIC APP!!! I have been using this for a week now and although it started me off with lower weights, I stuck with it. I have noticed an increase in strength in my squats. This is great because I am still recovering from a knee surgery. My bench presses are nearing the weight I had last pushed which is 315th and that is also coming off of pulled ligaments in the left shoulder. I will stick with this app and it's recommend workouts for the next six months.
Love this app! I do wish there were more options to add different/custom workout sets in addition to the premium membership. It would beat adding them in the notes section or keeping them in a separate app like keep or notepad.
Good program, but the backup/online storage account system would never load for me. When I contacted support about the issue, the answers were often rude and irrelevant to the info I provided. The lack of customer service is disappointing.
Mid-thirties male, never worked out in my life. This program is easy to follow. The weight accumulates quicker than you expect, but I am pushing/pulling more weight than I thought possible as well. Thanks, Strong Lifts!
Great app, my wife and I have been using it for the past month or so. It seems to really help since it gives you a schedule with regular weight increases so you can see progress, and it starts you off light so you can get your form down well before moving to heavier weights. It's been a big help for us, with the premium upgrade the warmups make it a much better workout than the standard.
