Most flare diaries record how bad your skin was. FlareLog records that too, and then records the topical treatment you were prescribed.

You enter what your clinician told you to use. FlareLog keeps it straight and shows the pattern back.

WHAT IT DOES

Regimen card
Type your prescription in once, per product and per body region, and it stays pinned at the top of your diary. A diary is not much use in its first fortnight without it.

Body map
Tap a region to rate it. Severity is your own 0 to 10 self-rating and is always labelled self-reported. Areas are never added together into a single score, and the app does not calculate EASI or PASI.

Creams and ointments by potency and fingertip units
Record which product, at which potency class, on which region, in how many fingertip units, across how many days. UK and US potency scales are both available and are never converted between one another. If you are new to fingertip units, there is a screen that explains them.

Patterns, with the arithmetic on screen
Applications in the trailing week, consecutive day runs per region, and days since the last recorded steroid application. Figures are shown per region with the working visible, never as one combined number with a threshold or a traffic light.

Photographs over time
Keep photographs against a date and a region, so change is something you can look at rather than something you have to remember.

Diary and day detail
Every day is a record you can reopen, correct and read back.

PDF summary
Produce a dated summary to take to an appointment.

Reminders
An optional daily reminder to fill the diary in.

Backup and restore
Write a backup file and restore it on another device. Both are yours to run.

WHO IT IS FOR

Adults managing chronic eczema or psoriasis on a topical regimen. Parents keeping a child's cream routine straight. Carers who want a written record to take to a dermatology appointment.

People who have looked for an eczema tracker, an eczema flare tracker, a psoriasis diary or a skin photo diary, and wanted one that records the treatment as well as the symptom.

WHAT IT IS NOT

FlareLog is not a medical device. It records what you enter and shows it back. It does not diagnose, and it never recommends a dose, a potency, a schedule or a taper. Those belong to your clinician.

Topical steroid withdrawal can be recorded and tagged, because it may be your concern. The app takes no position on it.

Days since the last recorded steroid application are shown as a fact and not as a target.
