Screen on. Touches off.

TouchOff blocks accidental touches without hiding what you are doing. The video keeps
playing, the map keeps moving, the recipe stays on screen — only the touches stop.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Start the floating lock.
2. Switch to whatever you were doing.
3. Hold the small lock button until the ring fills.
4. Accidental touches are now blocked.
5. Hold the button again to unlock.

On supported devices you can also unlock by holding Volume Up and Volume Down together for
about a second. The app checks whether that works on your phone before it offers it - it never promises a shortcut it has not seen work.

WHAT IT IS FOR

• Watching a video without your hand skipping to the next one
• Following a recipe with wet or floury fingers
• A map open on a mount while you are driving or walking
• Handing your phone to a child with something playing
• Reading in bed, at the gym, or on a crowded train
• Keeping a drawing or a document safe from a stray palm

MADE TO BE GOT OUT OF

A touch lock is only good if you can always undo it. There are four independent ways:

• Hold the lock button — works on every device
• Volume Up + Volume Down, on supported devices
• The Unlock action on the ongoing notification
• Turn the screen off — the lock is always released, and turning the screen back on never re-locks

You practise unlocking in a safe area inside the app before the real lock is ever offered.
If your phone restarts or the app is closed by the system, the lock is always off.

• Button size: small, medium or large
• Where it settles: left edge, right edge, or wherever you drop it
• How see-through it goes when you leave it alone
• How long a hold takes: short, normal or long
• Whether it fades away while locked, and after how many seconds
• Vibration on and off
• Keep the screen on while locked
• Light or dark theme, or follow your phone
• Nine languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Arabic and Japanese

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

We would rather tell you now than have you find out later.

• It does not disable the power button.
• It cannot guarantee the notification shade, Home, Recents or every system gesture — it is an app, not part of Android itself.
• It is not the system-level water lock built into some smartwatches.
• It is not parental control, kiosk mode or a security lock.

It blocks accidental touches on the app you are using. That is the job, and it does it well.
