About this app
"Natal Charts with Transits" is an astrology app that allows you to enter birth data and then generate a full natal report for that person. Also included are transit calculations and interpretations for that person, for any date of choice (these transit features are the same as found in my several Transits apps. In addition, you can also view a natal chartwheel or a transit-natal bi-wheel to see the actual astrological configurations. The app includes various settings so that you can customize the displays to your particular device. This app is a great way for beginners or intermediate astrology students to better learn the art of astrology - and use it to help make their lives better.
This app requires an Internet connection in order to fetch the correct historical time zone in effect at time and place of birth.

Worked fine on earlier Android devices, but on the latest ones the app tries to run in full screen mode which forces the app menu up into the notification bar, making it almost impossible to press anything on the menu. One workaround I found is to force the app into split-screen mode on the bottom; this at least lets you press on the buttons on the top of the app again.

Thank you for your comments. I don't have one of the latest phones you describe so I can't test for what you see or experience. I'm not sure how to get around this issue. I am sorry for the trouble, but I currently do not have a solution. Thanks for providing your tip.

Enjoy using Allen Edwall's Natal Charts with Transits (4.09) app for some time now, especially for the immediacy of checking barebones Transits (past, present, and future) quickly on the go on a cellphone anywhere, anytime. Not recommended for those looking for extra chart points or minor aspect interpretations. Enjoy the frank cautionary tone of the texts, as some of us just need that some days more than others with some Transits. Thanks Allen, and greetings from the Southern Hemisphere.

This is actually a great, very detailed application. I enjoyed the interpretation of the placements (even the less positive one'sđ) and aspects and appreciate the variety provided. It's possible I missed this, but it seems like there isn't an option for the type of chart one can use.

What do you mean by type of chart? The app displays a natal wheel or a transit-natal bi-wheel. UPDATE: Robin wrote me and said she meant "different house systems" rather than "type of chart". Currently there is only one house system - Placidus. The reason for this is because Placidus is best for beginners and novices - it works. Others? Eh.
