Feel calmer, more in control and able to live well alongside a difficult health diagnosis. Smile is a mental health app tailored to the needs of people managing chronic physical health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, long covid or chronic pain.
Feelings such as anxiety, worry and overwhelm are normal and we understand the emotional challenges you face as a patient, parent or carer.

Smile is based on five, evidence based therapies – as we know one size
doesn’t fit all:

S – Self compassion and self care
M – Mindfulness
I – Investigate your feelings (cognitive behavioural therapy)
L – Love & let go (action and commitment therapy)
E – Emotional regulation

If you have a chronic physical health condition you are up to three times more likely to develop a mental health condition such as anxiety or depression. It is important to look after your wellbeing and focus on looking after every aspect of your health, and with the Smile app, that is possible. You can manage your physical health and your mental health together and make sure that you are living well.
