About this app

Pay Blue is the app for drivers who recharge at amber-e public charging points. You scan the charger's QR code, choose how much you want to recharge, pay with a credit card, and recharge. No registration, no account, and no password required.

HOW TO RECHARGE
1. Point your camera at the charger's QR code — or enter the code printed on it, or locate the charger via Bluetooth if the label is damaged.
2. Choose how much you want to recharge.
3. Provide your name, CPF (Brazilian tax ID), and email address to receive the invoice.
4. Pay with a credit card.
5. Connect the cable and start recharging.
6. At the end, see the summary with energy consumption, duration, amount charged, and the invoice.

WHAT YOU BUY
The options depend on the charger. You can find:
• A time-based package with a fixed price: the charger stops automatically at the end, and you don't need to return to the app.
• A fixed amount of kWh, charged instantly: the charger stops automatically when it reaches that amount—and this amount is the maximum, not the minimum.
• No limit: an amount is reserved on your card as a guarantee, and you end the recharge through the app.

Before paying, the screen shows the rules of the chosen option: what happens if the recharge doesn't start, if you stop before the limit, and if you disconnect the car.

INVOICE
The electronic invoice (NFS-e) is issued to your CPF (Brazilian tax ID) and sent to the email address you provide. The PDF also opens directly on the summary screen.

DURING RECHARGE
Energy, time, current, and estimated cost are displayed live on the screen. If the energy doesn't start flowing, the app notifies you, and the payment is automatically refunded. And if the car isn't drawing energy, you can cancel within the first few minutes and receive a refund.

BLUETOOTH IS REQUIRED
The charger is not connected to the internet: the app communicates with it via Bluetooth. You need to be next to the device throughout the charging process, with Bluetooth enabled.

ALSO WORKS IN BROWSER
On Android, the same charging can be done directly in the browser, without installing anything: just point the camera at the QR Code. The app is for those who charge frequently and prefer to have it installed.

WHICH CHARGERS IT WORKS WITH
Amber-e chargers configured as public and with a defined price. If the charger is managed by the amber-e platform, the app notifies you and directs you to customer service via WhatsApp, which is where the charging is paid for in this case. And if the owner has enabled free charging, there is no payment, CPF (Brazilian tax ID), or invoice.

DON'T CONFUSE
This is the app for those who will be charging. The amber-e BLUE app is for those who manage amber-e chargers — it is not for charging at a paid public charging point.
