GroGuild helps you visually plan sustainable plant guilds and companion planting layouts. Drag plants onto an interactive 2D canvas, check spacing, and see companion-plant synergies directly in your design.
WHAT GROGUILD DOES
GroGuild combines permaculture planning with a clear mobile interface. Use it for garden beds, food forest zones, Three Sisters plantings, and simple designs for self-sufficiency or garden planning.
FEATURES
• Drag-and-drop guild designer with an interactive 2D canvas
• Grid, snap-to-grid and alignment guides for precise placement
• Distance and area measurement directly on the canvas
• Companion plants and antagonists shown as visual connection lines
• Plant database with category, spacing, sun and water needs
• Plants native to North America with region and pollinator filters, a North American origin badge, bloom months and butterfly host information
• Sowing and harvest calendar for seasonal planning
• Southern Hemisphere mode: sowing, bloom and harvest months shift automatically by six months
• Guild templates such as fruit tree guild, Three Sisters, herb island, Pollinator Patch and Monarch Waystation
• Units in cm, m, inches and feet
• PDF with layout, plant list and relationships; PNG image of the layout
• 18 app languages with quick language switching
PDF labels and plant names follow all 18 app languages, including Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Bundled fonts let the first PDF or PNG export work without internet access.
