amazing resource to learn characters with pictures, mnemonics. word origins , an area to practice writing including version with stroke order and one free form, and a very systematic way to teach on top of a learned foundation that is excellent. wow! never thought there could be an app so perfect for hanzi! also I appreciate the AI art to help with memorizing. but this is a perfect use of AI, being able to make hundreds of pictures quickly to support the mnemonic quickly. needed for a free app

Amazing. I tried a dozen different apps for learning Hanzi. Not only was this one the best for me, it's also free! It may take more time than some of the other systems but it leaves you actually understanding the fundamental pieces of each character. For me this made each character more memorable than other systems I tried.

Giving this 5 stars because it's truly great at making learning characters intuitive and fun. If I could deduct points, it would be for the sometimes really bad AI art used in the background art for cards. It's usually not noticeable, but when it is, it's distracting. I hope they will eventually be replaced with real art.
