really liking it so far! if it had a tasks section (not just within a note, but to be able to schedule them in the calendar) it would be perfect

Thanks for the note. Glad you're enjoying nocal so far! nocal really leans into notes like a scratch pad where you make lists, jot down thoughts, etc. That said, totally valid feedback. Something on our roadmap is better extraction of tasks out of notes into a structured view or onto the calendar as tasks.

one of the OG productivity apps i have ever used. as a programmer, i love how it uses markdown for building the UI. i just love itself. though there are some UI elements to be worked upon: like the alignment if pop up screens or notifs, text size changes based on screen res; this app is good. the Windows app is totally free, which i love it!

Great app already, with still a lot of potential. I like the ability to write notes linked directly to scheduled meetings. Makes preparing for meetings and live note‑taking really convenient. And cool that it allows for custom keyboard shortcuts.
