I have Skullcandy Mods and it's pretty frustrating that some basic functions like Stay Aware are locked to the app. If I pull one earbud out, it refuses to turn on Stay Aware because the app needs both earbuds to be paired to function? That makes no sense. I've had other wireless headphones before, Beats, and they work fine without the app. This makes me think there's something bad about this app for it to make us so reliant on it. It's supposed to be a bonus, not a crutch.

Thanks for supporting Skullcandy! For us to best help you, could you email us at appdev@skullcandy.com? Our products don't need the app to work, so we're thinking this might be another issue we can help solve.

I wanted to like this app. I used it for a short time then forgot about it. The app appears to be incompatible with devices after Android 12 due to a Bluetooth update, since it will no longer connect to my Crusher Evos and I have no access to the audio features. The headphones are excellent otherwise, so I hope with the next update this issue is fixed.

Can't get the stupid app to pair with my ear buds. It worked the first week. After that, I've had nothing but trouble. I've went to there website, and they give all instructions that only apply if the app is connected to the buds. So there is no way to pair them. At all without the app. If the app worked as it should it would be a great experience, but I've never have any experience but aggravation, and frustration....
