Whether you have songs on your local device, cloud storage, or media servers, you can easily access them with Symfonium and play them on your device or cast them to Chromecast, UPnP or DLNA devices.

I don't review apps. But I had to make an exception for Symfonium. This is absolutely hands down the best music player on the Play Store. I've been using another player for almost 10 years & then Symfonium came into my life. I made the switch and don't regret it once. It's beautiful, highly customizable, & intuitive. There's so many things you can tweak, right down to how it looks on Android Auto. This is the perfect music player IMO. Nothing will or probably will ever come close.

I've been using Symfonium for the past two to three years, with local music files, as well as both Plex and Emby/Jellyfin server libraries. I came from the likes of Retro Music for local, and enjoy the interface of it as well as Shuttle2 (which didn't offer offline listening for cloud or self-hosted musi). Symfonium is THE app for music on my phone, and I cannot recommend it enough if you want to customize your music experience visually and have a lot of options for WHERE your music comes from.

Symfonium is the perfect app for any self hosted music library. It has any feature imaginable: equalizer, lyrics, smart playlists, ability to have multiple sources, sync back of favorites & playlists to the library, system wide source toggle filters, customizable interface and just about anything else you can manage. I primarily use it with Jellyfin though tested it with Emby and Navidrome. The dev is very active in answering questions and regularly rolling out new features. Worth every penny.
