FotoSafe is a local photo backup app for Android. Back up photos and videos directly to a USB drive or selected storage folder – without cloud uploads, accounts, ads or tracking.


The app is made for people who want an extra physical backup of their memories without relying only on the cloud.

What FotoSafe does:

What FotoSafe does not do:
• no cloud upload
• no user account
• no ads
• no tracking
• no automatic deletion of your original files

FotoSafe only reads your photos and videos to copy them to the destination you selected. Originals stay on your device.

Note: Depending on your Android version and device, the USB drive must be visible in Android's system file picker. If Android grants access only to selected photos/videos, FotoSafe can back up only that selection. If the phone, Android, cable, adapter or USB drive fails during a backup, the backup may remain incomplete. Please verify important backups on the destination drive and keep at least one additional copy.

What’s new

New: After a successful backup, FotoSafe shows a clear completion notification without a progress bar and removes it automatically after ten seconds. The optional review now uses Google Play In-App Review first; only a technical failure opens the Play Store directly.
