About this app

The Express Plus Centrelink mobile app makes it easy for you to manage your Centrelink information online. To use the app, you'll need to have a Centrelink online account linked to your myGov account. With Express Plus Centrelink, you can do most things you can do in your Centrelink online account, without the need to visit an office or wait on hold. Here's what you can do using the app:

• View and update your personal details, including study.
• Report your employment income.
• View and update your family income estimate and payment choices.
• Check your payments.
• Upload documents to Centrelink.
• View your Child Care Subsidy details.
• Apply for or repay an advance payment.
• Track the progress of most online claims.
• View your Centrelink letters.
• Manage your Energy Bill Relief consent.
• View and manage your Centrelink appointments by adding reminders to your personal calendar.
• View digital copies of your Centrelink concession or health care cards.

If you use a BasicsCard or if your payments are income managed, you can manage your own money to easily check your available balance and view recent transactions on your BasicsCard.

To sign in to the app, use your myGov sign in details and create a myGov PIN. You can then use your myGov PIN to sign in to the app each time you use it.

I have been using the app for years and found it fantastic, took me all of 2 minutes to report. So when I tried to logon using my pin there a couple of weeks ago there was a message to upload new version which I dutifully did. All was fine until I was asked to set a new pin. No response from the numeric key pad and it seems the pin has changed from 4 to 6 digits. Please fix immediately. I can still use the old version on another phone and works fine.

Genuinely one of the least user friendly and most infuriating apps in existence. So many bugs, mostly it's just optimised websites within the app - if I'd wanted to use chrome I would just do that instead of use the app - it constantly logs you out, refuses to allow you back in because of "unknown errors" and this all happens on a 3 week loop. Oh yeah, and they block your calls once you've given your CRN to the bots so you can't even ask for assistance.

After I updated the app, it kept playing up to even open the app and log on but after a few attempts and then I stopped trying to re log in for a few days (I got annoyed so I took a break). Finally I logged back on the app and the app is back to working! Please centrelink tech, fix up the technical errors that is occurring to the updated version of the app!
