About this app

The Express Plus Medicare mobile app makes it easier for you to do your Medicare business online.

Use the app to do a range of things 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With the app you can:
•  submit Medicare claims
•  enrol a newborn into Medicare
•  update your bank account details and contact information
•  view a digital copy of your Medicare card details and current card members
•  order a replacement or duplicate Medicare card
•  view and download your Medicare Claims History Statements for the last 3 years
•  view your Medicare Safety Net balance
•  register or change your organ donation decision
•  view a digital copy or request a new organ donor card
•  view and download immunisation history statements for:
 •  yourself
 •  your child under the age of 14.

Set up the app

You need a myGov account linked to Medicare to use the app.

To sign in to the app, use your myGov sign in details and create a myGov PIN. You’ll then use your myGov PIN to sign in to your app in the future.

I really needed the app at the ER. It works the first time, but each time after... Spinning circle and then a timeout error. Since being back home I have uninstalled and set it up again. Again, works the very first time and from then on Spinning circle and then a timeout error. I am at a complete loss. Using a Moto 5Gplus, on android 8.1. I have tried a dozen times over wifi and 4G. Works the first time and then nothing unless I reinstall. Please fix it.

I've been unable to log into the app even after deleting and reinstalling several times over a period of several weeks. The message says I've entered either the incorrect username or password , and even though I clicked forgot username and forgot password, and received / uodated the required info I still get the same error message. If Medicare has no plan to keep this App updated and functional then just retire it

The app just doesn't work on my device. I either can't even click the 'sign in with mygov' button without getting an error. Or the app errors immediately after successfully signing in... It also doesn't allow for the same sign in options that MyGov supports and requires you use a password, which MyGov recommends disabling entirely and using Digital ID or passkeys. Absolute joke of an "app"
