A Good eReader app with versatility. First Kindle. Now nook. You can no longer export books purchased from nook to read on other devices unless you have the nook app installed on that device. Pardon me, but if I pay for something, it should be mine to use it in any (legal) way I wish. Of course, I could go through the illegal process of removing DRM but I'm not willing to go that far when there are other vendors.
Just wonderful! I've had Nook since it came out. I bought one of the first touch screen models and I still have it though it mostly read on my phones app. I absolutely love to read and I'm one of those readers who loves to reread her books over and over. The nook allows me to have hundreds of books without taking up all that shelf space. My husband loves not having to trip over stacks of books in our bedroom. And I love being able to have all my favorite books at my finger tips. Makes layovers at the airport bearable! ❤
well needed upgrade facelift?!?? I somehow lost all my books on my phone. All the other devices are fine. I don't know how to fix this. I use a password protected going program its in all other devices. It's making me nutty. NOW MY BOOKS ARE GONE ON ON THIS DEVICE ALSO, NOW!!! I TOOK AWAY TWO STARS, I WILL RETURN THEM WHEN YOU MAKE IT CLEAR HOW WE MIGHT DO THIS AND HOW TO CLEARLY FIX IT. CURRENTLY THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY TO GET THE BOOKS I OWN BACK.
Love It! Easy to use & I love how it jumps to ur last page read on the last device used. Only negative is on latest downloads, sometimes they are a little hard to find if you open and then decide to go with something else. They used to have a bright New sticker on the bookcover. I'd be lost without my Nook aps!
Long time user I read online every day. This is my favorite reading app. One reason is because the archive feature, it allows you to put all your read books in an easy to reach place so that you can go back and easily find the name and author of that book you loved so you can see if they have written anything else.
An OK Reader. Good, but not great reader. The inability to save publications to an SD drive on a tablet mean you will be spending a fair amount of time archiving last month's issues. This app will easily fill up the remaining space on a 16g tablet. Adding the ability to store books and perioticals onthe SD card would make this much better.
• Free up space: Eligible NOOK Books can be downloaded to a compatible microSD card, if your device supports one
• Reading: Improved book layouts and improved Aa and Brightness panels
• Library: With Sort by Author, books by the same author are stacked
• Downloads: Pause/Resume content downloads in progress
• Settings: Control access to cellular data from Download & Storage (4.6.1)
• Improved stability and other bug fixes (4.6.1)
