About this app

The TechPain app can help you succeed in better managing your patient's pain. The pain is extremely complex and each patient's journey is unique. The TechPain app is a tool that provides a smart starting point for understanding, developing and implementing pain management strategies. Our application software is used by patients and their doctors / healthcare professionals, and will assist in pain assessment and monitoring to coordinate and track symptoms and care.

The TechPain app is a patient-reported pain diary and provides a clear visual record of pain and treatment progress. Patients make daily records about their pain, such as intensity, location, frequency and time, among other tools. The records are sent to our server where the doctor or healthcare professional uses the web version that is synchronized with the patient's version to follow, through real-time reports, the progress of the treatment and track any changes that need to be made.

All of your records can be easily viewed and monitored by you from your login.

How does the TechPain App differ from other similar apps?

1) Approach and improve communication between health professionals and patients. Provides more detailed information for the health professional to make the decision;

2) Requires minimal permissions and requires few resources to function;

3) Shares the patient's health information only with the doctor or responsible health professional;

4) Indicates changes to the doctor or health professional that could harm the established treatment;

5) If you are a doctor or healthcare professional you need clearance from TechPain to access the application. If you are patient, you will only be able to access the TechPain application after being registered by a TechPain-enabled healthcare professional.

6) Protection of privacy: Only the health professional responsible for the treatment has access to your data. No data is sent to third parties and no one can access your information.

7) There is no type of advertisement: Advertising can consume mobile data.

The TechPain App belongs to the company TechPain and was developed in partnership with LANEN, Laboratory of Neurobiology of Nociception - LANEN, located at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC.
