I've used this system for a few months now and I love it! It's accurate, easy to use and very portable. I like that it doesn't look at all like a glucose meter. Like most people with diabetes, I can to a test real fast and since this looks nothing like conventional devices no one knows what I'm doing. I never hide my diabetes, but I don't want to advertise it either. The only fault I've found so far, and this fault is in all meters, is not being able to test when it's cold out. But since no meter works when it's cold this isn't unusual. My phone case is one of those with card slots, so after a test I just put the strip in the top of one of the slots and bring it home to put in my sharps container. Like one other poster, I would like to be able to delete individual test results. But like most people with diabetes I have more that one device and the people you meet who always want to be tested, I do on a separate device. Short review is, you must be technically literate to use this device and as long as it's warm enough, it works great.
Worked well for a week then took 4 attempts to get a reading.. frustrating and painful when having to get a result. Kept getting message not enough blood when there was a lot on it.. plus inaccurate readings.. very disappointed because its a handy little monitor...
I've been using it for over a year now and for the most part, I love it. I have two issues: first, I would like to be able to delete a blood glucose number (I am able to delete insulin records or food logs just not blood glucose). My husband used it a couple times and I am unable to remove his numbers so it is affecting my averages etc. You should be able to delete if needed. Second is that I wish it linked with My Fitness Pal. As someone who is already logging all food journaling with MFP (as recommended by Dr), I don't want to have to enter everything on multiple apps. It would be nice if Dario could pull info from MFP
The device itself is verry nice unit, The APP is a totsl POS, you can't select the measuring units, it give you the measuring units acording to the cfc of your phone... why can i just click the checkbox with the measuring units i want ?? I use a us bought phone on Canada, i must not be the only one. Forcing a measuring units by the cfc is stupid and should not be done. Can't use the App : can't use the product... bye bye Dario.
Worked well at first but now gives false reading of 19.9 when my freestyle gives me an 8.8. Not good at all strips are also too difficult to get out without touching the metal strip.
App does not let me change from mg/dl to mmol/l which is the standard in Europe. App gives repeated error measurements at times which can only be fixed by restarting the app. A too small blood drop can cause this error to loop and recur every following measurement. App does not start or pop up automatically when I attach my Dario. It would be a great win if this can be added to a future version. App does not work in airplane mode which is bad when flying. App should not insist on immediate connectivity but rather store measurements for later replication when connection is restored. For the rest its fine, it works most of the time.
Dario 3.3.1 is here!
