KNOW EVERY TIME YOUR MICROPHONE OR CAMERA IS USED
Your phone shows a green dot when something uses the microphone or camera, then it is gone, and Android forgets it within a day. Earshot Privacy keeps that record for months and tells you as it happens:
• Every use, with the time and how long it lasted
• Whether the screen was off and the phone locked at the time
• Which ones were your own face unlock, so you are not alarmed by yourself
• How many happened at night, and on which nights
• What is using the microphone or camera right now
Alerts arrive as a notification. With Pro they can ring and wake you.

Camera search. A guided physical search of the places cameras actually get hidden — smoke detectors, chargers, clocks, vents — plus a lens scan that shows bright reflections and infrared light through your own camera, so you know where to look with your own eyes.
Wi-Fi search. Scans the network you are on and names what answers: phones, computers, the router, and anything streaming video. A camera on the Wi-Fi shows up here.
Bluetooth search. Finds trackers and devices broadcasting nearby, including ones that follow you.
Save a place. Save a room you have checked, and the next scan there tells you what arrived and what left — a rental, a hotel, anywhere you go back to.
All four checks and their full results are free to everyone, permanently. That is written into the Terms, not into a pricing page.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
Most apps in this category will not tell you this. Earshot does:
• A Wi-Fi scan cannot find a camera that is not on the Wi-Fi. One recording to a memory card, or using its own mobile connection, is invisible to it.
• A Bluetooth scan cannot find anything switched off, out of battery, or of a type it does not know.
• Most bright reflections are not cameras. A screw head reflects the same way. The lens scan points at things to look at; it does not identify them.
• Android never tells any app which other app used your microphone or camera. Earshot cannot know, so it does not claim to.
• Finding nothing is not proof that there is nothing.
Earshot cannot tell you that a room or a phone is safe, and it will never say so. If you believe someone is watching or recording you, also contact your local police or a support service. Do not let any app be the only thing you rely on.
