About this app

Physiotec was the first provider of rehabilitation exercise software to offer an online exercise prescription service that is accessible in real-time. Their innovative technology allows the creation of high-quality personalized exercise programs. All therapeutic, physical fitness, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation exercises are accompanied by descriptive images in the form of simplified diagrams, photos, or video clips, along with clearly written instructions. The exercises are grouped in different modules: geriatrics, neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, vestibular, amputees, cardio, pelvic floor, Pilates, plyometric, reinforcement, warm-up, yoga, etc.

Physiotec's service offering to healthcare professionals is extremely impressive. In the areas of health, rehabilitation and fitness alone, more than 23,000 different exercises have been designed for rehabilitation programs and exercises in the areas of physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, occupational therapy, manual therapy, sports, physical fitness, chiropractic and osteopathic rehabilitation, as well as therapeutic exercises.

Physiotec’s innovative technological platform makes it possible to structure clinical knowledge in such a manner that it is driven dynamically thanks to the meta-analyses conducted by the stakeholders. Thus a therapist can use the database and, with the support of the Physiotec team, digitally personalize one or several exercises with regard to the specifics of his patient’s needs.

Need a way to track what is completed not just what was assigned. If patient can only finish a partial set of a single exercise, it would be useful to record what was actually done. As it is the program is only able to record an exercise as 100% complete or not done. This makes it difficult to track progress. As a way of providing exercise routines this works well, but fails at tracking progress which needs to be tracked elsewhere.

Hello Tai-Ching. We do have that feature on our app. Please look at the done, difficulty, sets and reps etc fields under each exercise name to track each exercise separately. It sounds you were using done and difficulty generic tracking which applies it for all exercises at the same time.

So many bugs, one day I can check when I'm done an exercise and also rate the difficulty of the exercise. The other day I can't do anything with the app except looking a the exercise. Also it would be essential to be able to leave comment on the exercises as a user without having to be in contact with the physio and loose their time... Seriously you should invest a minimum in your app if you want something useful. This is worst than a single sheet a paper since I can't note anything on the app.

The logging in experience is pretty awful because you have to type in this long random combination of letters and numbers every time, plus the password which is also randomized. There's no place to save even the user name, nor is Google allowed to save credentials for this app. I really am not too worried if someone "steals" my exercise moves for physical rehab.
