• Immediately start scanning barcodes to check any item while shopping to see if an item is vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free & set up an alert on your profile. In the free version, you can scan up to five products per week.
• Use our barcode scanner to see whether a product contains: palm oil, microbeads, nanoparticles, parabens, paraffin, too much sugar & more!

• Customise your profile with as much detail as possible so the products recommended to you are totally suitable for your diet & sustainability needs 🥗.
• CodeCheck will show you if a product is suitable based on your profile settings & will give you a personal rating circle to show its suitability.
• Let us know if you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free or concerned about palm oil or microbeads.
• Once your profile is complete you can receive information specific to you & warnings for ingredients or possible additives like gluten or whether a product is vegan-friendly 🌱💪.

After I painstakingly added (twice) a product to the database, it's still cannot be found in results. It's been more than a week since. I'm a paid subscriber of your service and think that it's a great idea but very poorly executed.. the process of adding a new product and its ingredients to the database is completely disfunctional. I spent over an hour adding just two products. mostly correcting the shortcomings of app design. Can't save a new product, no explanation. all info added.

Best independent app in this category. I consider buying ad free if I keep using it. Please add package rating and/or info on plasticiser (Weichmacher) in products and their packaging. Plasticisers from packaging can be attested in food, so it's important to choose products without them. Could also warn if a product is "overpacked" in plastic packaging. Would be cool if I could choose warnings for certain things like pig/cattle ingredients and things I'm allergic to (custom warnings).

Completely useless...I installed this app expecting to get some more info on the products I use. Unfortunately I'm stuck on endlessly loading tabs. The app crashed as soon as I tried to scan a product. Although allowing access to my Google info, location and camera, non of the functions are loading. I sincerely hope this is a problem with the build of the app that could be resolved in an update.

What's new

From this version onwards, users with an active CodeCheck subscription can now also create their own product lists, e.g. shopping lists, and bookmark relevant news articles to make them easier to find again.
