About this app

Manage all your health insurance and health-related needs digitally in the My BARMER member area. Save time, paper, and postage:

- Use the central BARMER service button (submit applications, request certificates, and submit invoices) for quick access

- Collect bonus points and choose great rewards

- Keep track of (child) sick pay, assistive devices, dentures, braces, maternity pay, rehabilitation, and long-term care with the Compass app
- Communicate securely with BARMER via your inbox, receive letters digitally, and reply directly

- Change personal data, such as your address or bank details

- Use the reminder service for preventive checkups and vaccinations

- Always have your digital dental bonus booklet with you

- View your personal cost overview

- Download a replacement certificate if you forget or misplace your insurance card

ACCESS AND SECURITY
To protect your data, log in to the BARMER app with your BARMER user account. For added protection, you'll use the so-called security device. This is the smartphone or tablet you used to register.

Don't have a user account yet? Register in the app. Then, digitally verify your identity, for example, with your online ID card. With your login details, you can also use other BARMER services, such as BARMER eCare or the BARMER Teledoktor.

REQUIREMENTS FOR USE

- You are insured with BARMER
- Android 10 or higher
- Device with an unmodified operating system (no rooting, etc.)

I requested a new Versicherungskarte in August, and it has now been five months. I have already visited the office twice and have been constantly writing emails to them. They keep saying that they have a technical problem and cannot produce the card yet, and that I should continue to wait. I have been waiting for five months already. I don’t know how they can handle such an important issue so irresponsibly. I will never recommend Barmer to anyone.

Crashed under LineageOS without error message. Also crashes under OxygenOS, but with "Abort message: 'hardened_malloc: fatal allocator error: invalid free'". Forces you to use Next Wallet, which does not work for me. Please fix your bug and support the official AusweisApp!

App works perfectly fine, but updates are required to use the app - there is no way to use it without updating...
