You need the app to be able to do anything with these headphones (HP), which I wasn't aware of when I first bought this product. App doesn't work consistently so I lack a view of the charge left on HP or the case. The multi-pairing option in the app doesn't really work. The settings that I put on to change the long hold or double tap feature on the HP don't stay as set from device to device (e.g. If I switch between my phone music to my treadmill It resets to default).

Re-installation restored connection, so rating back up to 4*. [+] Best feature for me is precise battery reading; lets me stop charging at 80% to limit battery wear. Could enhance app by adding more features, such as notification when Shokz battery falls to a custom level (e.g., 20%), or when it reaches 80%. How about a widget showing current battery level? Also, let me lower feedback beep volume.

1.Manually uninstall the app, then reinstall it. 2.Go to phone settings - applications - find "Shokz" - click on "Storage" - clear data. 3.Click on "Connection Help" on the app interface, check if the app is allowed to access Bluetooth permissions. 4.If you still can't connect, kindly contact our customer service team at customer.service@shokz.com.

I was having issues like everyone else where after the last update my OpenFit headphones stopped connecting to the app. Customer support had me reset the headphones but that did not help. I ended up uninstalling the app, then reinstalling, and now I can connect to the app again. It's not what should have to be done, but hopefully this works for others too.
