About this app

E-CNY App is the official service platform for e-CNY individual services, jointly developed by authorized operators. It integrates individual e-CNY wallet services of authorized operators, enabling users to open wallets, exchange and use e-CNY, as well as manage and check e-CNY assets.

Ratings and reviews

Only for certain pilot regions in China only. So don't waste your time trying to use it outside China. Probably useful for foreigners visiting mainland. If follow like Singapore SGQR - one unified QR where all domestic and international payment system can be use by just scanning a single merchant QR instead of displaying various QR code - Alipay, WeChat, e CNY etc

Installed and working. Set up new account and transferred in funds. Very easy process. App looks nice and is simple to use. But now I don't know where I can use e-CNY. App needs a section promoting and using e-CNY and a merchant list. Is there even a logo we should look for at merchants.

Probably most internationally friendly and easy to use payment app in China, But sadly many workspaces, restaurants, shops and markets etc. don't use this service.
