This ferry has sunk to the bottom of the East river. First off I can never catch a boat to the Far Rockaways because there are never any boats running. There are no attendants in there booths and the app or people never know when, if or how much. A real screwed up clown show the city is funding. I'm back on this subway again because I can catch a boat. And the app isn't any better.
This app is so frustrating. This is used for people to get to work. You need to audit your technology because it just doesn't work. I cannot rely on this app to purchase tickets to get on my commute because the store doesn't load. I have a full data connection and many other apps are working, while yours doesn't. This makes me less likely to take the ferry service. Just an awful experience
App works well. Ticket purchase and display works smoothly. An easy to view simple route map would be a nice addition. Ideally with an option to click on piers and see current departure board / delays.
Finding the schedules is a slow and unintuitive process (not as if the ferry is ever on time since Hornblower took over). Constantly have to redo login. It does let you buy tickets, that's a plus.
This app is not reliable. Always have reboot my phone. App will say there are no tickets when it was just purchased. Will use paper tickets until it is improved.
Works i guess, but a number of clueless design decisions by developers makes the app unnecessarily frustrating.
